My beginnings in endometriosis

In 2016, I heard the word endometriosis for the first time. I was outside a charity shop in London, where I was volunteering, and the person that was telling me about was my friend Brenda, the shop manager. It was a word that I could not remember easily,  but one that I associated with the suffering my friend went through. Years have gone by  and today I know a lot about this disease; fighting with doctors, severe pains that keeps you in bed, people who don't believe you and the money spent on various doctors only to hear that your pains are in your head.
